In our impression, Longines’ Conquest belongs to the category of sports watches. But in fact, it was positioned as a formal watch collection when it was launched. In 1954, Longines launched the 18k gold case model of Conquest. In fact, Conquest was originated from All Guard. The case, movement, dial and hands hadn’t been changed.
The first generation Conquest watches are in 35 mm. The lugs are very beautiful and the cases have been well blasted. The light champagne dial has excellently reinforced the elegant taste of the watch.
Later in 1960, Longines launched a special model that had a date window at 12 o’clock position. This edition had inspired many models launched in the future. However, the first generation was the most classic and symbolic without any doubt.
